The blessed life Part II

There is coming a move of God in the area of money and wealth in fact we are in it God is moving to finance the building of the house of God and the harvest of souls. I encourage you to get connected to a local church and to let your pastor guide you in this regard. Be a part of a local church that is winning souls and is interested in touching its local community and get into the Word and go to the market place. You will see amazing things.

In this blog I want to connect what God is doing and what you must do. Remember every action initiates principles that are either moving you towards blessing and increase or lack and poverty. I have always taught the church that every step of obedience moves you closer to your miracle while every step of disobedience increases the distance between you and your miracle. What happens between your taking steps and the full realization of the miracle might not always look good but keep moving. Motion is key.

From the time that Abraham received the promise “Come out of your land and family and go to a land that I will show you, I will bless you out of your socks ad so on” till the time he began to see that happen there was a lot of storms. He had to fight in the battle of the kings, he had to deal with Hager and Ishmael, he had to face up the ridicule and shame of calling himself by a name that seemed not to have evidence. But in spite of all of this he “staggered not at the promise of God but rather grew strong giving glory to God” Romans 3-4.

You will face resistance and opposition on your way to the miracle but faith is never perturbed. You stand on what you believe regardless of the circumstance, many give up at the point of breakthrough and they miss on Gods best. Be like the saints of old the Bible says in Hebrews 11 “these died in faith not having received the promise but having seen it far” The real question we need to ask you is “Have you seen anything?”

Anyway before I get carried away on this exciting detour let me come back to my lesson. I response to what God is doing we need to prepare ourselves for financial revival. We need to get ourselves ready by acquiring some skills that will enable us to walk in the fullness of it. Here is a principle “If you are a size 5 (Miracle capacity) and God blesses you with a size 10 miracle you will always reduce it to a size 5, but if you are a size 10 and you receive a size 5 miracle you will increase it to your size or more” Remember the story of the talents the first two servants doubled what they were given while the third one reduced it. You might say he gave it back in the same quantity, well not really if you are an investor or a business person your tool is the money, the time and the current rate of exchange and you will know that a thousand rand today under my pillow is not a thousand rand next year. It lost value just like the miracles that God gives people every day for most people we are putting them under our pillow.
I want to give you a few guidelines on what to do to prepare yourself for increase, because if you don’t you will be limited in what you can achieve and contain from the Lord.

How to handle money

Do you have the capacity to handle money?

What changes should I make in order to increase my capacity to handle more kingdom resources?
My I ask you another question and give an honest answer to this question “What is my financial capacity in Rand or dollars? Can you handle a million, two million ten million? A thousand might the level you are at but you can grow yourself. For those like me dark skinned and gloriously made in the image of God, we have a weakness in that we were never trained to handle money as we grew up, we do not understand money, in fact we are afraid of it that is why when we get it we go crazy and buy the latest of everything and we do not invest. We think it might get away from me so le me use it quickly look good to every one and that’s it.

I encourage you to hang around some people with greater capacity than yourself and learn from them. Do not be critical of wealthy people because “you will never become or attract what you despise”. Let there be an enlargement that takes place in your life by association and you will become greater in your capacity to handle money. Below are some guidelines that will help you to become a better steward of money and money flows to the one who is skilled. Remember the story we spoke about earlier, Jesus said tale the one talent from the lazy many without capacity and give it to the one with ten, not even the one with five in a bid to be fair. The greater your capacity the greater the flow

Handle money with wisdom (Proverbs. “The fool and his money are soon part, money grows wings and flies to the sky”)

1.    Handle money with dignity (Like 15 vs. 11-14)
2.    Handle money with a reverence for God (Proverbs 23 vs. 5)
3.    Know which money belongs to God and which is yours (Proverbs 3 vs. 9) and the one that    belongs to you must be used wisely
4.    Handle money lightly (don’t let it hold you like the rich young ruler) 1 Timothy 6 vs. 16-20
5.    Understand that God is the source of all money and wealth don’t deceive yourself to think you are  all that (Haggai 2 vs. 8)
6.    Understand the assignment (money respects assignments) always be clear about the “why's” of money
7.    Money is a perpetual seed (the planting and harvesting process or cycle does not end) Proverbs 23 vs. 5 (Violating this brings recessions)
8.    If I violate the principle of being a sewer and if I hoard or withhold seed without sewing it, it will be channeled to another who will use it well (money is liquid it must flow) Haggai 1 vs. 5-8
9.    Invest & channel money well, budget and plan expenditure (handle money with wisdom) Luke 19 vs. 12-26 story of the talents
10.    Respect money (how you handle it in the natural tells me how you handle it spiritually and that determines whether it flows to you or away from you.)

We will investigate these further to see if they are true principles of handling money the final thing I want to throw at you I know I have given you a mouthful already, is this your money ad your mouth a closely related. If you speak negatively money will fly from you. Learn to call those things, which are not as though they are. I have put here what I call the “Kingdom Financiers” confession. Job 22 says decree a matter and it shall be established unto you.

I declare that my business is above not beneath
I declare that my business is the ahead and not behind
I declare that my business is in the black not the red
I declare that my business is profitable
I declare that my business is exceeding expectations
I declare that my business is debt free
I declare that my business is blessed and highly favored
