Faith for daily living

Prepare for the miracles

Now that you have developed the habit of studying and speaking the Word of God according to the lessons that we have covered you now developing a miracle mindset

That means your mid is set on the miraculous power and ability of God

That means you see opportunity for God to do something miraculous in your life where others are seeing death

John 11 Jesus was going to resurrect Lazarus Thomas said, “let us go and die with him”

He saw death where he should have seen an opportunity for a miracle
Often that is how we respond to difficult circumstances that we face

The children of Israel in the Psalm 78 continued to display their unbelief by their actions and responses to the challenges that they faced (Read Psalm 78 vs. 17-41)

They limited what God could do for them through unbelief

This makes it very clear that unbelief is a serious enemy when it comes to what God can do in your life.

One of the reasons building your faith through reading, studying and meditating on the Word is important is it will build your capacity to receive from God and walk in the fullness of what He has for you

Isaiah 54:1-4 God encourages the barren person to rejoice and to sing aloud
This is an interesting instruction because if you are in a disadvantaged place the last thing you want to do is to sing and rejoice because you feel there is no reason for it

Then he makes an “outrageous” statement you have more children than the woman who is married and has children

Then it gets worse there is an instruction to enlarge your ability to contain what God is about to bring into your life. Enlarge you tent, lengthen your cords strengthen your stakes

Because He realizes that this is a difficult position for this person he goes on to encourage them in verse four by saying do not be afraid you will pot be put to shame or ashamed or disappointed, neither will you be confounded

How well you prepare will determine how well you receive. How much room have you prepared so that God can fill it

Psalm 81:10 how wide open have you opened your mouth to receive from the Lord?

Have you prepared for your miracle?
