What a great year

Greeting to you my wife and I are so glad that you were able to stop over for a minute and read this year-end address from the pastors. 2011 has been an amazing year and we have learnt so much and have been blessed. I can confidently say I am a better pastor, father husband leaders and life coach. I will never be the same. We are determined to move in fully into our destiny and assignment. In spite all the activity of the past year we are moving on with the Lord. My spiritual father taught me you cannot become great with regrets, you have to learn to move on and moving on we are. I encourage you to look up to the Lord and say “I am moving on in spite of all my failures this past year. Past failure often holds people in a stronghold that limits their future”. Let go of the regrets and the pain and disappointment lift up your head and move on. Remember that He promised that He would turn your shame to fame. Wow that’s awesome.

Well looking into the future we are seeing a lot of exciting opportunities for us and for the church and the Kingdom of God. This year as we saw the birthing of Prevailing Word Ministries International we were so encouraged by the love and support that poured in from all the corners of the globe. Do continue to pray for us as we go to the next level. We need the wisdom of God to manifest strongly. We want to see the work established and flourish in a wonderful way. We are looking at having the launch at the end of January and our first conference in the middle of the year. That will be an awesome and historic event. There are some awesome doors opening for television ministry as well and for me this is exciting, as we need to develop a strong evangelistic thrust in the ministry.

Through out 2011 I was under a very strong prophetic anointing that opened up my heart and mind to the plans that the Lord has for South Africa as a nation and as we take these step I believe it is a setup for that transformation to happen. We are living in great times as the church of the Lord and we will see revival sweep the nation in a mighty way. This is where it gets even more exciting as the Lord has a plan for you specifically in all of this. He wants to bless and prosper you in every area of your life so you can be a blessing. Through you shall all the families of the earth be blessed were His words to Abraham and this applies to the seed of Abraham that you and me. As you get planted in the house of God you will become a partaker of the anointing that is flowing in this season. So for those that are not members of Prevailing Word Ministries International I encourage you be planted in your church and connected to your pastors and to the agenda that God has for you there. Those that a re planted in the house of the Lord shall be fat and flourishing. This is talking about you, be planed in a good church and let God water you through you pastor.

Here are some beatitudes that you need to keep in your mind as you step into 2012
Be well planted
Be well Planned 
Be well prayed
Be full of the Word
Be full of faith
Be full of wisdom
Be well connected
Be expectant
Be diligent
Be radical

I believe you can succeed, I believe you can make it; I believe God has plans for you. Hi and welcome to part two of money answers all thing I trust you were blessed and provoked and maybe even upset by some of what I wrote. For me 2011 was a year of some serious awakening in many ways. I was headed in many ways to become the broke prophet. Serving under an awesome anointing but broke called to serve the living Go but broke. Quoting prosperity scripture but broke, praying for and ministering to people that were in need of financial break throughs and still broke. When I began to read a little wider than my pastoral books I discovered that I was missing just a few good tips.

The book that provoked me to take some steps out of limitation into what I have called financial revival is called the richest man in Babylon. Beginning of 2012 as I ministered in the headquarter church a most amazing sequence of events happened that led to me realizing that things will never be the same in my life and that is so true. That day I learnt that you have to marry three things if you are going to see change in your financial life. The anointing, the thinking, the action.

As Christian’s we are good with the anointing part but often not good on the thinking and action part. This is not to insult anyone as I was in the same predicament. I had to learn that the anointing needs something to ride on in order for it to bring results in your life. Getting a prophetic word that says you will be wealthy and successful is not enough to get you there. You have to get up and do something; you have to begin to take steps of faith that God can ride on. Just like a word saying you will be a powerful minister and that you will minister on great platforms etc. That is a good start but you have to study, you have to practice you have to minister to one person then twenty then a hundred and so on.

Now to get to the point, the story we looked at in the last blog is taken from 2 Kings 4 vs. 1-7. The widow was in trouble she owed money she could not pay. She was about to loose her last reason for living, her sons. What do you do when you have a predicament that you cannot solve? Well like most Christians go to the man of God. Notice how that she is given an instruction and she obeys it. The anointing makes things happen in peoples life, but they have to obey. A word that does not carry an instruction of action will achieve little. Go and borrow many vessels and come close the door on you and your sons. Yu will need some private time to think plan and begin to pour the oil into the borrowed vessels.

As they obeyed the miracle began to unfold for them. Note there needed to be obedience to the instruction there needed to act on the word. They went to the neighbor’s homes and borrowed the vessels and they began to pour. This could mean many things for different people as the situations are different and the giftings are different. This woman was a woman in distress she was gifted in begging so she could use that as her point of break through. For me it meant writing, blogging, talking, training and creating. This is the key to my miracle. I will keep writing until all the vessels are full. I will keep training and equipping until all the vessels are full. My wealth and success and financial liberty comes from what I am doing. When my compendium comes out it will bring me a few millions then when the other ideas are full I will be able to put a monetary value to them.

Please think through this carefully as it will change your life. The prophet asked “What do you have in your house?” Its what you have in your house that will be your point of break through. A mans gift shall make room for him and take him before great men. The diligent hand shall be made rich. The Bible says about ministers they that preach the gospel shall live by the gospel, the giftings inside of you are an indicator of what God has given you to help make money. When you fully develop your gift the prophet will say “go and sell that product and pay the debt and you and your family will live of the rest.” Wow is that not awesome?

God is saying if you understand this principle you will be able to activate something that will bring you out of debt and into more than enough. You will be able to live of the rest. That must have been a serious harvest. Now quickly do an inventory of your life and you will discover the thing that will be your break through point. Look at all the wealthy people today you will see that this is true saved and unsaved. They discovered a key in their life that makes money for them and their families. It could be IT, banking, selling, speaking, reporting, and running, hitting little balls on a large beautiful piece of land or a bigger ball on a smaller field for ninety minutes. What do you have in your household? Poverty says I have nothing, because it see’s nothing when there is something.

Money does answer all things so when you don’t have enough you are in debt and for a piece of bread a man will sell his soul. The borrower is servant to the lender, God wants you free to serve him and ministers to the needs in your house and in the house of God. Remember Paul’s words “Let him that stole steal no more but rather let him work with his own hands so that he can have something to minister to the saint” It is clear from Paul himself that productivity is key he sustained his life and some of his ministry obligations from his tent making business. So Paul’s model of ministry says be in ministry but make some money too. Is that to say every minster must have a business? No there are some that are content with just doing the work of God and that’s how they are gifted, that’s fine.

The oil was an opportunity to save he sons and see increase in her life. Talking is mine, what’s yours? Frustration and agitation create a bed conducive to creating wealth. Money answers all things

We live in a world that is moving at a very fast pace and because of that there are many things that need to be in place in our lives otherwise life will over take us and we will be left in a vulnerable place. Of all the topics in the Bible and in the world today there probably is no hotter topic that that of money, sex and power besides the message of salvation. Right from Genesis we see this thread run all the way to Revelation. The problems that Paul had to deal with in the Church were centered on these three topics. I want to zero in on one particular one. Money.

In case you have not realized this money is an important commodity it makes life easier. Like someone said, “Money is not everything, but it sure does make everything work.” I want things to work in my life and I want things to work well. I have driven bad cars and I have driven good cars and I have even walked to destinations and I can tell you a good car is a good thing to have. In the church we have people that have gone over to one side and taught such an empty materialistic gospel that does not fulfill the spiritual needs of man and on the other side we have others that have blasted the teaching o money and material prosperity and have left people going to heaven but suffering on their way there. I believe we should be balanced in our approach and get people to heaven but in style and comfort. I have preached without a microphone and almost lost my voice and people got saved and I have also preached with the modern conveniences of good equipment, the latter is better by far.

I don’t think the Lord would have mentioned money so much in the bible if He was not interested in our having lots of money. In fact I believe it’s the devil that does not want the church to have money. He has put in a very strong strategy to stop you from making money. And by the way you will never have what you do not talk about, especially if all your talk is negative. I was saying to someone the other day. (Ladies please forgive me) Money is like a woman treat it good and it will come to you, treat it bad and it will avoid you. If you treat it really nice it will call its friends to come and see how well you are treating it. So if you don’t have much money stop and think about how you have been handling it and what you have been saying about it.

“Ahh I really don’t need a lot of money, I need just enough” “Rich people are stingy” “I just want to live a humble life” Are any of these familiar. Well I have heard them before. I want to challenge you mind set about money. I want you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Think in line with Biblical truth when it comes to money. 

Ecclesiastes 10 vs. 19

A party gives laughter, wine gives happiness, and money gives everything!

The King James Bible says, “Money answereth all things” Money is a necessary tool to make life easier to live. We need to press into God and allow Him to teach us about money. In this lesson I want to help you position yourself for financial liberty and increase. God wants you to experience financial revival as much as He wants you to see all things in your life come alive.

I speak financial revival in your life right now in Jesus name. I declare that money comes to you today in Jesus name. You will never be broke another day in your life.

But guess what now that you have declared these things over your life there are some things you need to do. Join me for the next few weeks as we study the Word of God together. Now that the anointing has been activated by your words you need to create vessels and vehicles by which the money will come. Enjoy the Study God bless you with the spirit of wisdom and revelation in His Word that you may know the exceeding great power upon your life to create wealth to establish His covenant.

The crisis of the broke prophet

2 Kings 4 vs. 1-8

The prophet was broke and left a serious problem for his family

There are some oxymoron’s we see in this passage of scripture. Please read it and think through this with me.

1.      He feared God but was in debt (he had not activated some principles like many believers)

2.      He was a servant of the man of God but was broke (He never learnt to place a demand on the anointing like his wife did)

3.      He was a son of the prophet but lacked prophetic insight and foresight (He was around the anointing but it did not get on him) He should have had a glimpse of the future

4.      His wife was a woman of God but she had not learnt the language of faith. Having been around the anointing she still saw herself as someone who had nothing. (What do you have in your house? I have nothing) Being a pastors wife does not guarantee success, being close to the man of God does not teach you faith

5.      He was a husband and yet he could not hold things together. You can be the man of the house and still not have a strategy to make things work. Husbands must have the anointing and skill to make things work

6.      He was a father who did not leave a legacy, except that he feared God. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children. What are you leaving behind 

Having looked at this you should be provoked that you will not be like this son of the prophet. You will learn more about this anointing and walk in it.

Proverbs 13 vs. 22

God’s intention for you is for you to be blessed so much you will have enough t do what needs to be done. My Dad Doctor Shana taught me that to be wealthy is to have options. Wow simple and profound. We need to have options in our lives. God wants you to leave a legacy that will impact generations after you. That is why He has prepared the wealth of the wicked for you. If you will be dumb like some believers me included at one time, you will think this wealth will just drop from heaven no you have to activate some principles that will cause the channels to be directed at you and you need somewhere to put it when it comes.

Wealth=Enough, riches, substance, great, goods, might and strength

Taken from root, which means successful effort, ability, power, force, goods, might strength and substance

Now does not that sound like what you desire to be and to have? Well according to God you are anointed for that read Deuteronomy 8 vs. 18. Now if this is a spiritual reality what can I do to make this a natural reality in my life? That’s a good question but I will answer it tomorrow on this blog. I want to build a solid case on this and show you from the Word of God what he wants to do in your life and I will show you the how.

Money does answer all things and we all need some answers right now. Next blog we will look at how to take what you have and pour it into borrowed vessels and see increase in your life.

Success principles Part 1

Hi and welcome to this blog in our series “The Blessed Life” Life as God intended; I have been endeavoring to teach the believer practical step of activating the blessed life. The principles you will learn in this blog will be very helpful for the person who is sick and tired of being in the same place. These are not get rich quick schemes or gimmicks these are not “lucky charm” solutions these are Bible based principles that will alter your life forever. In fact when I do this particular lesson I challenge the people and say if you will take these steps seriously you will see a marked change in your life within 30 day. Note I did not say you will have a million dollars with thirty day but a marked or significant change in our life, your paradigms and in the way you carry yourself.

Remember that we covered in a previous blog that the first place you need to deal with if you are not happy with your life is your mindset, the way you think determines the way you live. The Bible says, “As a man thinks in his heart so is he” so change your thinking and you will change your life. A lot f people are trying to change their lives then they will change their thinking. The life you are living is a result of the thoughts you are processing.

We are told from stats and surveys that have been done that only 2-5% of all people on this planet will succeed in life. Now these stats are accurate but my assignment in life is to change that. I desire to see people succeed in life in fact this is the thing that motivates me the most. I wake up to help someone succeed; I was born to be a motivational teacher and prophet to people. I live to see peoples lives get better. When I see marriages healed, families restored, couple married, people get jobs, business grow I am happy and these things are happening in the church I pastor. So what you are about to read is wisdom that has been tried and tested. I could put a name to each principle, names from the Bible and from the church and from human history. So read on and grow and succeed. 

Follow these principles and you can change your destiny, you are not doomed to failure by some curse, there was no lottery draw in life that said you were born to fail, success is information away.

Success defined=The progressive realization of a worthwhile ideal

It believed that very few people know their personal vision in life and even fewer have a written down vision, this accounts for why the success ratio is so disheartening. Decide that you are a part of the minority that will succeed by having a goal or vision. If you are to succeed you must have a set goal or focal point in life that you are working towards. Have a worthwhile ideal that you are pursuing, the number one reason for failure in life is broken focus. Did you know that most people don’t fail in life; because to fail is to not achieve a set goal most people have no goals they coast through life and never really live life. This is an insult to God who sent Jesus to come and give us life and life more abundantly (John 10 vs. 10)

If you have made this decision then you are ready for the lesson today.

30 days to a transformed life. Romans 12 vs. 1-3. This is a kind of life make over program. I encourage you to get into a covenant relationship with a friend, your spouse, a colleague or even your pastor. Let them know that you are embarking on a life make over success program and that you would like them to hold you accountable for the steps that you are taking in this program. I suggest you take a week to work on the framework of the steps that are in the lesson and there is eight of them. Then dedicate a month to think through what you will have written and make the necessary adjustments, then when you feel you have a full solid plan to a new successful you begin the rigorous execution of what you have put in place.

Work over this over a period of six months to a year and you will see things change in your life. I guarantee you that if you will be careful to follow these steps you life will be different. Why six months to a year that is the amount of time needed for you to see traceable progress and to train your system in the new success routine. Meet at least once a month to review your progress with your mentor (weekly would be most ideal) Check how well you are doing what was established in the working document that you will have created (If you have questions feel free to contact me)
Now enjoy the eight steps to a new successful you

1. Visioning or visualization

See something, do you see yourself succeed in life or all you see is failure. For this to happen you might need to change your company and your hang out spots. Here is a principle “You are what you eat” now we eat with our brain, our eyes, our ears, our imagination and so on. Wealthy people know this so they make sure that their environment feeds them sufficiently to remain at the top. Poor people go to where poor people go failure like to keep company and console each other on why the will ever make it. My greatest problem with apartheid is what it did to the minds of its victims. On paper it is over but in the hearts and minds of millions of people apartheid still rules. We need to change the environment of our communities if we are to see change. Visualization creates the person that you are. 
Proverbs 29 vs. 18 When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful.

The most outstanding ingredient of successful people is their ability to vision, to see, to imagine to create. During the slave trade masters used to beat, abuse and rape pregnant women with the intent of producing docile, obedient slaves that cannot see a better tomorrow. You are what you think and vision. You need to have a personal vision and a vision corner on your computer and a vision board in your office or at home. This becomes a constant reminder of what is becoming a reality in your life and it will motivate you and give you a passion for life.

Practice; Take some time to think about your vision in as much detail as possible and write it down in a good note book or Journal. Create a vision corner

You can change your life by changing you focus (thinking, vision) fill your mind with thoughts of success that is why some of your friends need to come out of you life. Positive thinking will bring positive results and negative thinking brings negative results (you reap what you sew) You become what you think about (Proverbs 23 vs. 7)

The number one reason for failure in life is broken focus. God took Abraham out of his tent to show him the stars and the sand this was to help him visualize the promise that he will be the father of many nations. What do you have that helps you to see what life will be like when your vision is realized?

2. Imagination

Think the picture into existence. The first principle of visualization and this one of creative imagination go hand in hand. Your imagination is an important part of your success. Every great invention that has ever been created began in the imagination of someone. We used to get rebuked for daydreaming; little did our parents know that they were killing an important part of our success. Some of your most successful people in the world today have great imaginations or they employ people with great imaginations.

Plan and write your vision and think again until it takes shape, develop your thoughts and keep writing as you exercise your imagination you will begin to see things differently you will begin to crate in your mind a new reality that could be. This will apply whether you are working on a business proposal, solving a management problem or transforming your marriage. They say that all created wealth has its beginning in an idea. When was the last time you had an idea. Write down all ideas that come to you and keep records.

Synthetic and creative imagination is at your disposal but you need to develop more is creative imagination. This is the type of imagination that is able to create things that were previously were not known to the person. Synthetic imagination helps you to organize what already exists so that it can be productive. Both are necessary for success.

Praying in the Holy Ghost allows your mind to connect with God the author of all great purposes and ideas. This way you will have access to infinite knowledge. It is interesting that the most significant inventions in the world were created after the reformation when Martin Luther the reformer gave humanity access to the Word of God. Some of the greatest inventors of our time were Christians and some were ministers or the offspring of ministers.

When you body is submitted to the mind and the mind to the spirit and your spirit is submitted to the Holy Spirit you will tap into the amazing creative ability of God. It is in praying in the Holy Ghost that God ideas are birthed and it is in that place that they are developed. A great imagination is a great tool (Ephesians 3 vs. 20) 20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Practice: Dedicate at least 30 minutes a day to look at the vision and imagine how it will look like when you complete it

Do not accommodate negative imaginations (Romans 12 vs. 22-26) this has undesired results so keep your mind clean.

Breaking out of famine

In our last blog we spoke about “Fight the famine” and we highlighted a number of key points namely. What is famine, the types of famine, why famines come and the dangers of famine. That was a powerful exegesis of the Life of Abram, Isaac and the story of Elisha and the famine of Samaria. Now these notes would not be complete without empowering you on how to break out of famine.

In my current series “The blessed life” Life as God intended it I have gone to great lengths to help the church to understand that our position of blessing is an established reality its not in question. What we do with our position and privileges is where we need to look and examine. According to the book we are blessed the heavenly auditor has concluded the deal. In this teaching you will find some principles or points that will help you appropriate what has been given.
 

1. Have a burning desire to be free from famine. Success must become an obsession
The king heard the woman’s story and it created a desire for change, as he went to the prophet the turn around began. How much do you want to be wealthy?
Pursue wisdom knowledge and understanding. It is through desire that a man separates himself and intermeddles with wisdom.
Your desire will create new realities that never existed before. You must want to see change so badly you will pursue it.
It will shape your world anew and redefine your parameters. You are bigger than you have been told
 

2. Go to (God) the man of God
The king went to the man of God with the intent of killing him but got a breakthrough that stopped the famine the following day.
Enquire of the Lord, often when people are in famine they run from God, run to him and ask questions with a desire to know
The king was going to kill the man of God but it brought about turn around
1 Kings 18 Ahab sent Obadiah to look for the man of God because the famine was bad

3. Believe and receive the Word of the Lord
The king and his servant did not believe the prophetic word and the servant died because of it. Fear doubt and unbelief will kill you even in the midst of a move of god. Believe the Lord …a and believe His prophets and you will prosper
What you believe with your heart you will act upon and you will create a new world. Check your faith. What do you really believe?

4. Take steps of faith (the lepers began to walk)
There are times when all you have is a frustration about where you are and what you are experiencing. The lepers where desperate to live and to change their situation they chose to die trying and guess what they lived and the city lived
Sometimes you have to take leprous steps towards your vision and God does the rest
Refuse the opinion of the well-calculated experts that sit on the high towers of reason. The observers on the wall told them there is a trap lets not go but the king came to his senses and said lets send a few people to see. It does not hurt to go and see
Fear has paralyzed many people into inaction, its time to walk on even if you feel to weak to do anything just walk on by faith
Take action, do a CV, do a business plan, do your hair, make a phone call (she is waiting), meet the banker, talk to your boss. What step of faith can you take in your situation that God can use to create a miracle for you?

5. Take care of you
Get some stuff and hide it for yourself. The lepers hid a few consignments of food for themselves. You need to save some stuff for you, reward is a motivator. Do you go to work for you neighbor or for yourself? This does not sound too powerful but you are not very helpful in your broke and discouraged state. Yu need to eat and dress well and live well then you will be able to give well and be a blessing. God said to Abraham I will bless you “first” then you will be a blessing. People feel guilty sometimes about looking after themselves its Godly
1st timothy 4 vs. 15-16
Deuteronomy 8 vs. 6-11
Enjoy the goodness of God
Let your testimony be established

6. Share the good news
Go and tell the city that there is good food, after you have tasted the goodness of the Lord go back and share with others.
Announce the good news “The famine is over”
2 Kings 7 vs. 9
This is that which was spoken by the prophet “by this time tomorrow…”
Go and proclaim the good news

There was a financial revival after a long painful famine. This is Gods plan for you.
Luke 4 vs. 18-22
Lets go tell the world the good news. Christ died that you might live, He became sick that you may be healed He was forsaken so you can be accepted in the beloved he became poor that you through His poverty might become rich.

Jesus is alive and the same way He was anointed He has anointed me to preach good news to you…
This is the good news my brother the Famine is over its been over since Jesus hung on that cross for you. God bless you

The Lord began to speak to me about the famines in the Bible and how that there are similarities to the famines we experience in our lives. In this blog I want to challenge you and encourage you all at the same time to stand up and fight the famine. To refuse anything that does not look like Gods plan for your life. If you are in a famine this will also help you because you should not was the experience of being in a famine come out with some wealth and some increase in your life as you will see in the life of Abraham how God used the famine to take him to a new level of wealth. Now that’s worth reading about isn’t it.

Genesis 12 vs. 10

10 At that time a severe famine struck the land of Canaan, forcing Abram to go down to Egypt, where he lived as a foreigner. 11 As he was approaching the border of Egypt, Abram said to his wife, Sarai, “Look, you are a very beautiful woman. 12 When the Egyptians see you, they will say, ‘This is his wife. Let’s kill him; then we can have her!’ 13 So please tell them you are my sister. The Lord has just blessed Abraham and he finds himself in a famine. You can be a blessed person and still see things go the wrong way in your life. This is not a time to cry it’s a time to hear from God and see the opportunities that are hidden behind the situation. Know that God is at work even in times when things look dab. When the famine is at its worst great miracles are cooking on your behalf.

I have come to learn that these famines of money and resources’ are nowhere near as bad as the famines that I want to list below. In fact the financial famine is often a result of one of these. But few deal with the real problem when there is a famine in their lives. We would rather work on the symptom of a lack of money rather than the real challenge.

Do a quick assessment of your life and identify an area where you could be facing a famine situations and draw up a plan to get yourself out of it.

Types of famine
Famine=Shortage, dearth, want, scarcity, deprivation, food shortage
1.    Famine of the Word of God (logos and rhema) 1 Samuel 3 vs. 1
2.    Famine of Prayer and true spirituality 1 Kings 10 vs. 13-14
3.    Famine of wisdom
4.    Famine of vision
5.    Famine of ideas, Creativity and imagination
6.    Famine of Morality and values
7.    Famine of Purity and holiness
8.    Famine of money, food and resource’s (note this last famine is a result of all the others)

Therefore when you see a famine of money, wealth and resource’s you must look at the other types of Famine. I have been mentoring a group of wealth creators and one of the conclusions that we have come up with is if we are to be wealthy we must have many ideas, we must generate some IP intellectual property because that will produce ideas that will create wealth. I can tell you they are better of now after three months on the program they are wealthier than they ere before and I mean not just in money they would not have had but also in the mindset they have adopted as wealth creators.
 

Genesis 26 vs. 1-25

This is an amazing passage of scripture that will bless you to read and meditate on it. Isaac was facing a famine situation just like his father and God told him not to go to Egypt but remain in Gerar. Interesting wow God said to one go to Egypt and to another don’t go, so there is no formula you just have to listen to Gods instruction. While there he lied like his father about his wife being his sister until they see him fondling his wife (Maybe I should do a blog in Married and loving it about Isaac fondles his wife {No under 21}) but again God uses this situation to bless Isaac and establish his wealth and influence. There is a pattern you better pick.

When Isaac is chased away he leaves and has the famous fight over the wells he dug till God makes room for him and he grew in wealth and stature until Abimelech comes looking for him to make a peace treaty. God can bless you in your famine season s much that the enemy will come and say I see the Hand of God is on your life lets be at peace so that when you become great you don’t fight me we will be friends

Pharaoh dreams of famine (Genesis 41) The dream shook him so much he had to find a solution and the good news is here was a solution. SO there is hope for you there is a solution.

The dangers of famine
From 2 Kings 6 vs. 24 to chapter 7 vs. 1-20 the passage we read earlier there are some thing we learn about being in famine. Here is a strong warning against languishing in famine and not doing anything about it.

1. People become selfish, sinful and self-centered (self preservation is the name of the game)
2. People become enemies, kings become murderers, friends become foes and mothers become cannibals
3. People fail to find a way out. They are all wired to think, “This is our lot in life”
4. The king said & “from where shall I help you?'' When rulers become helpless there is a crisis 2 Kings 6 vs. 26-27
5. We cease to be creative and imaginative we only see dead ends...
6. Hope differed makes the heart sick... Discouragement overwhelms the hearts of the people
7. In famine we begin to eat our future investments. Mothers were killing their children and eating them because of desperation. The world today is killing its future because of famine.
8. Even when answers present themselves to you; you fail to see them as answers all you see is death. You blame God for the famine 2 Kings 6 vs. 33

Well let me stop here and we will finish our study tomorrow as we look at what to do when you are in famine. There are some practical bible based steps that you can take that will bring you out of the famine seasons in your life

You need to be connected to a place of worship where you can have access to an anointing that will empower you to live the blessed life.

What is the blessing of Abraham?
The blessing was…
1.    Ability to create (God is creative, we are made in His image)
2.    Real estate (land and buildings)
3.    Multiplication (family relationship and growth)
4.    Influence (favor, open doors and preferential treatment)

6.    Wisdom, knowledge and understanding
7.    Ability to bless others and bring community blessing (Be a blessing and others walk in blessing because of you)

10.    Global influence, control of territory (Dominion, authority and rulership)
This is what has come upon the gentiles
In order for this to happen I have to walk in line with the Word and activate the laws that cause the blessing to manifest
 

What is the blessing of the gospel of Jesus Christ?

SALVATION DEFINED
•    The word salvation is taken from the word “soteria” which means rescue or safety (physically or morally)
•    Salvation talks about a total package of Deliverance, Preservation, Safety, Health, Prosperity, Well-being, Help, Welfare, Victory and Salvation.

What Does All This Mean?
•    When God saves you it covers every facet of your life.
•    Throughout the Old Testament we see many pictures of God’s intention to save man.
•    Sickness, disease, poverty, bondage and all the other negative things came as a result of the fall of man.
•    Therefore, it was never God’s intention for man to suffer.
•    Salvation is God’s bringing us back to His original plan.

➢    A saved man has dominion over natural things because he is principally a spirit and it is natural for a spirit to dominate.
➢    Salvation is having dominion; being saved from dominion of the flesh.

God is amazing in how He works in our lives and as we have been declaring that we are in a season of financial revival where doors are opening to do great things in our lives. I want to share a testimony from one of our daughters in the ministry. As you read I want you to say this could be me until you see yourself walking in the fullness of this miracle. I am sharing this testimony by permission that is why names and details are not edited I posted I as she sent it.
 

Hallo mom and dad,

I trust that your day has been great.
I want to share with you that indeed blessing comes with favor and this is the season we are in. Every morning since we entered into this season, I wake up and lay hands on my head and declare, “I am blessed and favored”…this is it.

I was just checking up on our CEO a few minutes ago to say to him that I wanted to say hallo since we came back from the long Easter holidays. After chatting with him, at the end of the conversation, he says to me “I have made some changes to our strategy and I would like to send it to you to look through it, give input and make changes”. 2 minutes later, he emails it through for me to read and do as requested!

Dad I am so humbled at such great favor. At the same time I know that it is the doing of the Lord and it is marvelous in our sight. Only He can cause a big company CEO to value my views and see them as invaluable enough to make change in the organization. It started off with my manager always asking me for input into strategic changes for our department and now it has escalated to this level. They say they see me as very strategic and smart. This is actually manifestation of a prophetic Word you spoke over my life some time last year and also earlier on this year during the seasons we have prayed and fasted.

The bible says that God will change the hearts of kings!
Being a Follow Up HOD has taught me to follow up on people always and look where it has landed me!

Part two of the testimony
 

Please celebrate with me. Indeed the blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and it adds no sorrow with it. The blessing is at work and these are the fruits of the blessing and one thing I know is that if God can do it for me, He will do it for someone else also.

I am so humbled. Now apparently, the attorneys say they have registered this property unaware that I hadn’t yet paid the amounts outstanding as by ‘right’ they shouldn’t have done so and so it was a gross “error” on their part (I know it was favor). It seems I was given a 30% discount twice ‘somehow’, they also don’t know how….They say they understand that it was their fault but I need to raise the balance on the account urgently. The whole “error” thing now puts me in a bargaining position with them because I can negotiate to pay the owner the small balance in installments we will both agree on. I promise you that I have never seen or experienced such kind of favor before. Right from the start of the whole deal, this is what transpired:

The property initially had 2 bedrooms and the owner was in the process of extending for a 3rd bedroom and had all the municipal plans approved already…the price of the property was sold to me as a 2 bedroom and not a 3 bed roomed.

The bank gave me a 90% bond because I am not a ‘citizen’ yet, they would generally give between 50 – 80% for such cases and so the agents were surprised as to how and why I got 90%. The owner gave me discount on the purchase price, which I didn’t ask for. During the whole process, my passport expired and I still needed to give them a copy for further processing and they took it as is.
This is the best part….they went and registered the transfer at the deeds office “unaware” that the fees had not yet been paid and they have registered the property fully in my name, making me the legal owner as we speak.

They went on to give me a discount on their fees as well.
I want to thank you for your covering, thank you for the prayers and encouragement. Once I have the keys, I will invite you to come and dedicate the house and we will Braai in celebration.

As we continue on our amazing study of the blessed life I want you to keep in mind that there is a purpose to all this. These lessons are not for people out to find a “Get rich quick” scheme. This is for people that want to live life as God intended it to be lived. It is therefore important that we keep a balance so that we are not derailed on either side of the blessing railway. One side we have people that will say “no financial prosperity is not for the church” others will say I want lots of money to get many cars, house and nice things so they can see that I am blessed.”

Well both positions are out of balance, God does want you to have all the great things that life has to offer but there is a purpose. We are blessed to be a blessing as God said it to Abraham. Genesis 12 vs. 1-3, One who is not blessed does not have the capacity to be a blessing. Only a blessed church can bless the world with the message of Jesus Christ. There was a popular “gospel” song that was filled with demonic oppression from the sixties and is still popular today. The lyrics said “I’m just a nobody trying to tell every body about some body who can save anybody” If this some body could really save let him save you first and make you some body then maybe some body will listen. Proverbs tells us that people do not listen to failures that are poor and down and out.

If our message is going to change the world we need to be blessed people that will command the respect of a world that is headed to hell fast. God ordained that your life should be a blessing. The reason He blessed you is so that your life would be a blessing

When the love of God is matured in you cease to be selfish. When “I” is exalted in your life you expose yourself to the attack of the devil. Satan built his empire on “I” self-exaltation is the mark of the Babylonian system. But the Kingdom of God is built on Him.

Romans 5 vs. 5
The love of God is at work in me, the same love that is in God
The love of God is not selfish or self-seeking
Read 1 Corinthian’ 13 meditate on the love of God
Acts 2 vs. 43-47. The church had a love revival that brought them to a place of having community impact. The results of a Spirit filled church that demonstrated the Love of God and was a blessing to the community

The lies of the devil exposed
1. You are not blessed (God cannot bless you, you are under a curse) don’t believe those people that tell you that you are cursed as a believer they are agents of satan or miss informed people trying to build a following around them. You are blessed child of God.

2. You cannot be a blessing (you are trying to survive) I have nothing to bless with. We all have seed that God gives us to be a blessing to our generation

3. To be blessed be stingy and hold back as much as you can. This is how the world thinks, the Bible says there is he that withholds more than is necessary and it results in poverty, and there is he that scatters and yet increases.

You need to develop a new blessing paradigm. You need to establish it in your heart and mind that ''I am blessed and that I am a blessing'' put together scripture confessions that will help you walk in this new dimension

Who are we called to bless?
Your family, friends and relatives
Your church and community and country
The nations “Go preach the good news in Jerusalem, Judaea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth”

How are we to be a blessing?
Abraham was a blessing by...
1. Being an example of faith and friendship with God
2. He was in the genealogy of Jesus; his family line was responsible for bringing the messiah into the world
3. He taught us the pattern of walking in wealth and prosperity
4. He taught us to trust God even to the end
 

You are ordained to be a blessing to the world

1. Through your lifestyle and conduct, show Christ to the world

2. Our faith and trust and faith in God should be a blessing and example

3. Through your giving of your resources. Giving in the house of God. Your tithes and offerings are designed to empower the house of God to touch the community
As you give in the house your money is what is used to propagate the gospel (services, out reaches, radio, television etc)
We should build a sanctuary that will minister to the nation and to generations to come. There is little we can do if people do not give as they should

4. Through serving and ministering in the church and being a witness for Christ. Like Abraham your family line must bring the messiah into the lives of many people. Use your gifting calling and vocation to be a blessing as you serve in the house of God

5. Community work and involvement in charity (prison ministry, hospital visitation, funeral and grief recovery, orphanage ministry etc)

6. Philanthropy. Get involved in or start organizations that meet needs in the poor and disadvantaged communities

7. Train (Raise) up your children to be ministers of the kingdom

Make a commitment today that you are blessed to be a blessing to many. Lets together rise up and make a difference. I want to be a blessing wherever I go, its my prayer that these blog’ are a blessing to you. If you will take time to listen to my voice and hear my instruction and obey my voice I will lead you and guide you into a place of wealth and blessing in a measure you have not known before. It will be that I will establish you to be a great blessing to many and to cause many to know me and to seek me. I have chosen you and set you aside for my purpose and my glory through you shall many be able to say the Lord has been good to us. Set your heart to seek me and to serve me and to obey my orders and step-by-step line upon line you will grow and accumulate great wealth your former toil shall be forgotten and there will be joy and gladness and laughter. Trust me with all your heart follow not after your own way do not the things you have said to be the way; my way is the way my plans are the plans that will succeed. So turn today and listen and follow me and I will lead you and guide you to the place. Says the Lord   

There is a financial revival that is causing wealth to flow into the hands of kingdom financier’s, or shall I say a move of God that is causing money to flow into the hands of “Kingdom financers”. This move will see many unlikely candidates rising up and doing great things for the kingdom of God. The prophetic Word above could apply to you if you will receive it and adjust your life accordingly. 2 Chronicles 20 vs. 20 believe the Lord and you will be established believe his prophets and you will prosper. Amos said the Lord will do nothing unless he first reveals His plans to His friends the prophets. God desires for us to live the blessed life in fact God has made provision for you to live the blessed life. God is out to bless people. He has already blessed you. 

Not living the blessed life is a choice not a curse from God (Joshua 15 vs. 24) Joshua positioned himself by choosing to serve the living God. Any form of bareness is not pleasing to God, God wants fruitfulness in our lives. Whatever is not of faith is sin. God is not pleased when we are not fruitful in our lives or with dead areas in our lives. Isaiah 55 vs. 7-13; Bareness is an indictment against God’s nature and character. The devil wants to defame God by keeping His people in poverty God is glorified by fruitfulness. In this the Father is glorified that you bare much fruit. 

Living below the BDL (Blessing Datum line) is sin it’s not pleasing to God. How can the church say poverty is Godly, when even the world knows that poverty is not good. The world is talking about eradication of extreme poverty by 2020 and the church wants to keep people poor and humble. There is nothing wrong with you or your pastor living the Blessed life. That is Gods original plan. Poverty is a curse not a blessing. 

Worlds definition; Poverty is the lack of basic human needs, such as clean and fresh water, nutrition, health care, education, clothing and shelter, because of the inability to afford them. This is also referred to as absolute poverty or destitution. Relative poverty is the condition of having fewer resources or less income than others within a society or country, or compared to worldwide averages. About 1.7 billion people live in absolute poverty. Poverty is additionally seen as a state of mind and a lifestyle- more than just a lack of materials. It is a state of deprivation and insecurity. Even those who can get above poverty are always close to falling back into its clutches. 

God’s definition of poverty Deuteronomy 28 vs. 38-46 Genesis 45 vs. 5-11 Proverbs 10 vs. 15 Proverbs 11 vs. 24-25 Proverbs 18 vs. 13 2 Corinthians 8 vs. 9 Jesus cursed the fig tree that had no fruit Mark 11 because He hates bareness. Blessing if form the Lord The blessing upon your life causes you to be fruitful. When God blessed Adam He blessed very area; that blessing meant that everything he had was blessed. Deuteronomy 28 vs. 1-14 Do not confuse the blessing with the things. The blessing causes things to come. The car, house, money and the promotion is a result of the blessing that you carry on you; God blessed man; this truth must be established in your heart. As a man thinks in his heart so is he. 

Blessing= power, enablement, capacity to fulfill a set task; It is the pronouncing of a favorable word that produces a desired reality. A benediction, speaking forth and impartation of a good, desired and favorable outcome Proverbs 10 vs. 22. It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich… Joseph carried the blessing Acts 7 vs. 9; Genesis 39 vs. 1-6 and vs. 23 Adam was “seedful” (full of seed and ability to be fruitful) he had the capacity to produce. All that comes out of you will prosper because of the blessing. What you do with your seed determines what you get out of that blessing. 

The Blessing pronounced Numbers 6 vs. 25 Genesis 1 vs. 26-28 Job 8 vs. 7 Psalm 115 vs. 11-16 Deuteronomy 1 vs. 11 & 8 vs. 18 Ephesians 1 vs. 3 Please read and meditate on these scriptures, as they are powerful in positioning you for what God is doing in your life they are part of the confession that was posted in the “Financial revival” blog yesterday. 

These scriptures need to be a part of your daily vocabulary. Develop your own confessional (not a Catholic one) of the Word and bless yourself daily and you will see your life change. Remember a Word received created around you the necessary tools to make that word a reality. Ideas to created wealth will begin to flow, wealth-creating opportunities will begin to manifest regularly.

Greetings to you trust you are well and prospering in all regards. God truly has called us to live the blessed life. There is a biblical blueprint on what that life looks like. Look at Genesis before man fell. That is the life that God wants man to enjoy. Anything lower than that is not pleasing to God. We therefore must work on getting to where God wants us to be. The purpose for my blog is to help you discover how to make that a reality.

Deuteronomy makes it clear that if we obey the Word of God and do what He has called us to do and turn not from it to the left or right that we will be blessed in all areas of our life. Now I want in this brief blog to give you the wealth creators, kingdom financer’s confession that we have been doing in church. This is not a secret formulae it’s just the Word. Faith calls those things, which are not as though they were and they become because faith is a creative force. Through faith we understand that the Word God created the worlds so that the visible world came into existence by invisible words. SO what you speak is important, develop a daily discipline of speaking the Word of God over your life.

The Bible says in Genesis that God breathed into mans nostrils and man became a living Nephesh, this means he became a speaking spirit. You mouth has the power to bring into existence great things. Thou art ensnared by the words of your mouth. Proverbs has so much to say about the mouth and the words that come out of your mouth. Begin to speak these words over your life daily and see awesome things begin to happen to you. Wealth creators have a distinct language that refuses to be denied, a language that makes things happen.

Feel free to modify or personalize this confession. For example where it says my business you can specify and say Money cometh to Ndlovu Holdings Pvt Ltd. Or you can put your name or specify your bank account. You can declare and say, “I declare that impeccable holdings is the preferred service provider etc.

This will help you develop faith for success and expectation for resources to flow to you. I could go on teaching about the power of confession but let me close by saying in the miracles that Jesus did and stated that your faith has made you whole you will notice that Jesus often saw their faith by their words. If Jesus was to appear before you right now and say I have come to fulfill your faith demonstrated by your words would you need to suddenly speak many things to give him something to work on or would you have to say wait Jesus there are Word that I need to erase (Oh money is not coming to me, things are hard, I am a failure, there is a curse on my life) Well guess what whether He appears to you or not your word have been recorded and an answer is coming your way.

Read Malachi 3 vs. 16-18 and Psalm 115.

It speaks of them that feared the Lord meeting together and they were blessed because of what they spoke. In Psalms they were blessed because of their fear of God. Wow this is awesome. Speak these Words in faith and confidence that God is listening. Please note that these are all scriptural things that you should be claiming for your life so you can be a blessing.

Genesis 1 vs. 26-28
God blessed man; this truth we see in verse 28 must become established in your heart if you are to enjoy the blessed life. As a man thinks in his heart so is he, many people are more curse conscious than blessing conscious because many ministers teach more about curses than they do about blessing. People are established in their faith in negative circumstances than they are about Gods goodness. The principle is “So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” we have to hear and keep hearing that we are blessed until this truth replaces the lie of the devil.

Blessing= power, enablement, capacity to fulfill a set task. It is the pronouncing of a favorable word that produces a desired reality. A benediction, speaking forth and impartation of a good, desired and favorable outcome

Adam and Eve became successful and prosperous at the release of the Words of blessing spoken by God. The moment a word is released and received the recipient is blessed or empowered to make real what has been spoken. When a word is spoken you have to hear it, believe (receive) and act in line with it if it will wok for you. We spoke about that in the last blog, confession without action is folly. What Word has God spoken into your life that you need to allow into your spirit until it brings forth a baby? A woman’s body can reject a seed that is panted into her womb and there will be a miscarriage. She has to adjust her program and lifestyle because of the new condition. I remember when my wife discovered that she was pregnant with our first daughter the doctor told her immediately to stop gym and change her lifestyle. If what you receive in the spirit does not demand a changed life then you will never hold the baby.

Deuteronomy 8 vs. 18 (King James & Message) …it is He that has given you the POWER to get to establish His covenant….
My job as a pastor is to preach the Word of God to you not your experience, if I preach your experience I lock you to your present circumstances but when I preach the Word I release into what God has for you.

Notice two interesting word from the above scripture “Power” and “wealth” God is telling us clearly that we have the power, ability or anointing to make wealth. Psalm 115 vs. 9-16 tells us clearly that the blessing on our lives makes these this a reality. In verse 14 He speaks of the blessing on our lives that will bring increase more and more on me and my children, verse 16 talks of what God has given to us. The earth, wow that is awesome I have title deeds to some art of the earth.

Hear are some fundamental questions that we need to look at as we continue.
Can we all be wealthy? Yes (it is possible for us all to be wealthy the resources in the world can handle that)
Will we all be wealthy? No “because some will not receive the Word and believe the Word and act in line with the Word (2 Kings 8 vs. 7-11 you may live but you will die…) it is unfortunate that there are people in the world that will never work on themselves to bring a change in their lives. I can see it in some people that I talk to that they will never take the necessary steps to change their lives. Even if opportunities to be wealthy were on free offer some will never take it.

Miracles=divine intervention into the natural course of life
Adam and Eve activated certain laws that resulted in man dying the natural result would have been death but God intervened and broke that process by sending Jesus. This activated our miraculous salvation.
You know God is about to do a miraculous work in your life when He begins to call for order, where there is unity (order) God commands the blessing. John the Baptist came calling people to repentance saying “The kingdom of God is at hand”
When Jesus was about to do miracles he called for order. Don't complain about the call to order rather prepare and dig ditches, the rain is coming

Principle; Order invites the anointing

God is calling you to order, which means there is something supernatural that is happening
There are miracles that are about to happen in you life, Put order in your finances, CV, career, schedule. Job 8 vs. 7 your beginning might be small but in the end you will greatly increase. God is at work in your life so expect things to grow and blossom. Amos 3 vs. 7 Surely the Lord will do nothing but He first reveals His secret unto His friends the prophets 

Verse 8b, The Lord has spoken who can but prophesy. I prophesy into your life that there is increase and growth particularly in the area of finances. I decree financial revival in your life, in the name of Jesus. The prophetic comes to prepare us for what God is doing and so we can put order and get ready for the miraculous. The process of putting order builds faith in the people as they watch expectantly to see what will happen. The disciples told the people to sit in groups of fifties then Jesus blessed the food and multiplied it.

2 Kings 4 vs. 1-7 The widow prepared and a miracle happened according to the size of her preparation
Key factor; Prepare for the blessing, get ready for it, and put your life in order
The next story 4 vs. 9-37 The Shunemite woman; Her connection to the anointing caused a miracle to happen even seven years later (2 Kings 8 vs. 1-6) She enjoyed about 14 years of supernatural favor

Principle; Every place you see a miraculous/supernatural manifestation of God in the Bible it happened in and around an anointing

Notices from chapter one of Kings to about chapter 16 miracles were happening around he prophet of God. If you need some supernatural intervention get around the anointing or build yourself in the anointing. Mathew 10 vs. 39-42 (Message Bible) The prophets reward is ready for you, receive the prophets

God spoke to me the other day and said tell the church “I give you men and women that I anoint to a blessing to you. How you treat them is the same as how you treat me. They carry anointings and blessing for you, you ignore them to your disadvantage. You connect with them for your blessing and betterment. Romans 15 vs. 27, Men and women of God carry your spiritual things”

Principle; The presence of the anointing does not guarantee a miracle. The anointing must be perceived, pursued and provoked in order for it to work for you

When you provoke the anointing like that you get to a place he will ask you “What shall be done for you?” Get connected to an anointing that is changing lives and you will know you are next in line. The size of your preparation will determine the size of your miracle, Psalm 81 vs. 10 Open you mouth wide… how wide you open your mouth will determine what miracle God will do for you.

2 Kings 2 vs. 19-24 Water was healed by the words spoken by the man of God, Mocking the man of God landed some kids in trouble, be careful how you treat your man and woman of God. Touch not m anointed and d my prophets no harm.

2 Kings 3 vs. 10-22 Enquire of the Lord, God will guide you and help you, Elisha prophesied when the hand of the Lord came upon him
